Great report Becky - and great photos too
I agree with Hinds restaurant - we ate there for Les' Birthday and for $225 I expected much, much better food
Sorry to say but we won't be back.
Can't wait for your next installment.

Great reporting, Becky. It's always nice to come here and see one of your reports!
I'm so glad you found a charming island dog. Too cute!

Wonderful trip report, great photos, and loved those restaurant reviews! I admit to being jealous when most folks get to St. John more often than I, but not with you because your trip reports are always so enjoyable. Go back often!

Great trip report! We played with the same dog when we were there over Thanksgiving, but we swam over from Hawksnest so I didn't have my camera. She came bounding out from the cottage when we arrived. I just assumed she lived there. We rolled a coconut around for her to play with.

Great report. I was surprised about the water temp. Do you wear a shortie when you snorkle?

Now thats what I'm talking about, I love your trip reports! You don't miss a trick, do you journal while on vacation? I try to do it, (which would make trip reports easier), but I'm afraid I'm not too regular (or observant, not sure which one).
Funny story about the dog. My dogs dig a hole in the yard in the summer too, drives me insane! Becky, the thng about dogs is - well, they know you are not a dog lover and so they will always be drawn to you. In my dogs case, it's because they are sure you don't like dogs, because you haven't met them yet. So, therefore they must be with you - alot. They take it upon themselves to win you over to the dark side! Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode, but I digress.
Thanks for the report, reviews and photos. lovin it!

Very nice report and good pics! I know now that I'm not a high season STJ'er. I like the water warm.

You never disappoint us with your trip and restaurant reviews. I, for one, am glad that you ate out more so that we could get the reviews from you.

Hey Becky, I just finished reading your restaurant reviews and then, to my surprise, there was your TR. What a treat.

I could just picture that chicken eye balling that worm on your skirt. Too funny!
I think we stayed in unit 2 or 3 on our first trip to STJ. It's hard to beat the views from Gallows Point, and like you said, it's so convienient to town.
Add me to the list of non grouper eaters! You're a brave women.
Can't wait for part II.

Thanks for the great report. And your pictures are always very good. No surprice my favorite are the underwater ones, and especially the eagle ray.
Looking forward to more.

Thanks so much Becky. You are wonderfully talented and awesome - perhaps you will write a book someday!
