Much ado about no 'ting. Wear shoes, wash your hands, all is good.

I'm kind of missing the big problem there?

I forgot to add that my husband won't EVER go into Duffy's bathroom. It's that bad.

If you gotta go, go and don't think about it. I handle filthy money all day. A little pee and feces doesn't scare me!

Okay. Reality Check. Would someone remind me why I want to go back here again?

Going to the Caribbean isn't like being on the mainland. It's not like going to Tibet or up the Amazon, but it is different. Sometimes it's different in ways that visitors like and sometimes different in ways that visitors don't like. As folks say: It is what it is and it's not for everyone.

plus its fun and my kids are good when we are there.

so im not giving it up.

Well you see, I was raised a country girl.

When we would party on the farm or in the woods, you had no choice but to pee outside.

Even when there was an outhouse, we still would prefer to go outside.

I get Connie's "rather pee by the car" sentiment. I would rather go outside than in a pissy bathroom.

Even when you swat, there is still too much potential to come in contact with ickyness. It is easier for guys.

All that being said, half a buzz breaks down my gross bathroom issues.

If you want a clean bathroom, stay in your villa. :?

I have used a hell of a lot worse and a hell of a lot better restroom facilities then the one at Skinny's. It is what it is. Wash your hands and if you have that extra uggy feeling, bring hand sanitizer. Nuf said...

Yup...this is one of the reasons we resist the urge to bring newbies to STJ. I'm not sure some of our friends could make the transition. It's not a place to be pampered. Sissies don't survive or return.
