So, here goes-
Paul was a roofer in Roxborough.
He got the nickname "Squirrel" with abilities from jumping roof-to- roof.
I was very young when he tried to land me a job as a roofer.
I lasted @ an hour.
Paul has currently been sent down to a lesser intense IICU bedroom, whatever that means.
(It's evidently a room where there's lot's less to worry about?)
Still no news about his liver problems...
Folks- I can't wait for the day that he wakes up and reads all of your best wishes & prayers.- Paul is a religious man...
He's not out of the woods yet, but I have to, on my big bro's behalf, send a big "Thank You" from our family.
Thank you so much, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Just hope he can survive to see Maho Bay. It's gorgeous, and everyone (including that crazy roofer Squirrel,) should witness it, and all of it's splendor.
From my Sweet Amy & myself-
Thank you and
Always
Smiles-
Jimmy

So glad to hear that news, Jim! People you'll never meet are praying for him, and that's been proven to help!
If he can jump from rooftop to rooftop....
I'm just saying....
He's a pretty strong and steady guy!

That's a great sign that they moved him to a "less" intensive room. Praise the Lord!!

Glad to hear the update.
Just a lurker here, but it is such a kind group. Think it is great that you find it an outlet, and that so many do! I can't keep anything in, far more unhealthy to do so, imo!
It is amazing how life can change in the blink of an eye! Keep up the hope and it is clear many many people are thinking of your brother. I check back daily for progress.
On a side note, we too were married in St John, in November, and stayed at Sago Palms (just not for the wedding!) You can't go wrong!
best wishes to you and your future bride.

I'm so glad to hear that Paul has moved to I'm guessing a telemetry room. That is a great move! I will continue to pray for recovery and his ability to be with you on Maho in November. My brother and I are close and he's getting married next month out of state. I would fight like crazy to get there if I had to and I'm sure Paul will too!!
Thanks for the updates!

Just home from work.
As some of you know, I'm a bartender at a "Mom & Pop" place, out in the middle of the woods in a town called Shamong, NJ.
For the most part, the folks that I not only tend to, but also my employers, have been an unbelievable help.
Very gracious, interested, and worried on my behalf.
I couldn't ask for better support, as far as my work life.
You family members on the forum would sincerely love it there; you can find us at
www.picalilli.com .
Lovely people, and great food. Simple, delicious, friendly,& family atmosphere.
That's why I'm lucky to have found a home/job there; kind people, which is reminiscent of our heaven on earth, STJ.
My Sweet Amy has already told me that we should plan to have a small ceremony on Maho, a casual reception back at whichever villa, then have a party back home at the Pic-A-Lilli for friends & family.
I don't make as much as I used to, but the quality of life has improved ten-fold.(I always wanted to say ten fold...)
Thanks for your prayers, and as I mentioned, ALL ARE INVITED, not only to the wedding on STJ, but also the party at the Pic.
I think that is also a more realistic get-together as well, as far as Paul is concerned. Just trying to keep things closer to home.
Thanks,hugs, and always
Smiles-
Jimmy
