Luna Vista Deja Vu Tour - The Movie

Post by jimg20 »

We have been remiss in completing our trip reports for our June trip. The reason we stopped midweek was that the internet connection was not working well enough to upload photos to Flickr. What good are the reports without the photos? At least that was how we rationalized it while sitting on the beach.

I was able to put together our movie while sitting on a plane since I got home. At LMG's suggestion, we used Vimeo this time. We hope you enjoy it.

Beautiful shots both under water and above ground! Seeing Luna Vista again brings back nice memories. That sure was a strange looking blue-eyed girl diving with you.... 8)

You like me! You really really like me! First I want to thank....

Most of the underwater shots were done by Diana. 8) The ones where she is in the shot were either shot by me or one of the divemasters. We spend so much time diving that we didn't shoot too much on the surface. We still have a lot to learn about UW photography.

The strange looking blue-eyed girl will want to settle up with you in about 95 days.

The music was done by a saloon singer from New Jersey and a garage band from England. 8) We're hoping that this video will be their big break. :D

Thanks for watching.

Fun fun! Love it!

"Summer Wind" is one of my ultimate chill out songs. Nothin' like it.

Thanks for the comments. When I am putting one of these together I start with the music. Well, that not true. I start with planning the trip! Since I had an idea of where I wanted this to go, I pulled some of that music into the file while we were packing. Since we planned on a lot of diving "Octopus's Garden" was a natural selection. "Summer Wind" was something I always wanted to use. Then the music sets the pacing and content of the photos we use. "Simple Gifts" helped point out the simple gifts that we get from this spectacular island. There are hundreds of other photos that we could not use for one reason or another.

Thank you everyone.
