Drinking a lot?!?! On St. John?!? NO!!

Your Bahama Breeze sounds like bliss! Plus with the cranberry juice you can fend off any potential UTIs from the likely awesome "vacation nooky" you are having!!

So jealous - - you all sound like you are having an absolute blast!

Thanks Liamsaunt! Knowing how many times (and for how long each time!) you've been to STJ, this makes me feel much better. I will tell her not to worry...although she is irrational in her own worries :x . Now, I won't even talk to her about stingrays, barracudas or the TEETH on those parrotfish :sho...

Safe Luggage Storage Cruz Bay?

Hey all! I have a trip booked to Scrub Island/Tortola in October, but we are planning to start in St. Thomas. We will be visiting St. John for the day en route to Scrub Island, and we were just wondering if there is a safe place to stow luggage for the day near the ferry dock in Cruz Bay? Thanks!

Scrub Island logistics?

Hey all! I am planning a group vacay to Marriott Scrub Island next October, and I have a few questions I hope you can help answer. My husband and I are VI addicts but normally stay on the Marriott in STT. We have A LOT of places we must see. The Baths, Jost Van Dyke (White Bay and Foxy's), St. John ...

Yes, no earlier than 10-ish for sure. I need to look at the timing on the car ferry to STJ, but I seriously doubt we'd make anything before 10a seeing as we're at least 30 min from the RH ferry! Wish we could stay on STJ, but you just can't beat free on STT! I think we're going to STJ also on Friday...

I really like the vibe and food / wine at Acacia at Magens Point Resort (the old Indigo). You eat poolside, and it's really quite nice. I don't see they have a website, but here's some information I found. Great sushi too. http://www.virginislandsthisweek.com/st_thomas_restaurants/acacia_restaurant_...

Hey SOonthebeach -- I was thinking of the Drunk/Tourist Trap and Coral Bay trip on Tue Aug 10th (which is also my bday :-)). Perhaps we will see you then?? Thanks all for suggestions! We're vets on the passenger ferry, but the cab rides for 4 people are just killer!! So we're going to opt for the ca...

Coral Bay - Good Beaches /Short HIkes with Kids

Hey all! As usual, working in a frenzy to come up with an uber-itinerary for our upcoming trip (woo hoo look at the ticker! :D ). We are headed to the islands Aug 4-11. Staying on STT at the Marriott using points. I plan to take the car ferry to STJ for at least 2 days. One day in STJ is planned out...

SIMPLY AMAZING PHOTOS! This is getting me primed for the upcoming trip, although for my kids' sake, I hope we don't run into the lemon nor nurse sharks! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!

BevM - You are SO right. Not sure where my head is  . There are only 6 passengers total on Capn John's boat. So we could take 2 with us. If we find a family of 4, we could always switch to Born to Rhumb with Capn Kevin that holds more.

Just let me know!

Share a Palm Tree Charter - Sat Aug 7?

Me, hubby and kids (aged 12 and 13) will be on the islands Aug 4-11 (woo hoo :D ). At any rate, we just booked again with Capn John for Sat Aug 7th for a venture to the Baths, JVD (White Bay/Soggy Dollar) and Sandy Spit. If anyone is interested in splitting the charter, PM me or respond to this post...
