Re: Army Corps comment period, 2 days left
Thanks so much for the reminder! I just sent mine in. For all of you who have put off sending your thoughts like I did, please do so now. The extra two weeks for comments will, hopefully, help the cause. The more voices heard, the better!

Take a look at Skyridge. You can rent the upper level only. Completely private, outdoor showers, magnificent views. The house has good karma.
Happy Hunting!

Re: Calabash Boom vs Bordeaux Mountain vs Gifft Hill
We love Bordeaux Mountain. The views are stunning. On our first arrival there (to Seabreeze), our daughter, who was 11 at the time, walked onto the deck, gazed at the vista and said, "This is opening a whole new world to me." She also discovered the Milky Way that summer. We would often fi...

This made my day. Thanks, Bigcheeze! That's how we would always spend our mornings, sipping coffee and watching the bananaquits feasting on sugar. Sweet.

Re: Looking for accommodations!!
Take a look at Orchid Knoll on Bordeaux Mountain. The views look fabulous, with sunrises and sunsets and more! We've never stayed there, since it is too small for our family, but I think it looks great. We're Coral Bay people, as well, but we've stayed on Bordeaux and love the central location and t...

Re: please name villa rentals in Upper Carolina
We love Upper Carolina. Skyridge and Satinwood are wonderful. We stayed at both twice. Friends stayed at Sea Glass, In the Stars and Casa Luna. All very nice. There is also Tree House, Villa Margharita, Mayan Sky Villa and Tropical Manor. That's all that come to mind right now. Happy Hunting! Shelley

Re: Suggestions for us in Coral Bay?
Skyridge is really quite wonderful. The views over Sir Francis Drake Channel are mesmerizing. It's extremely comfortable -- very private with nice pool and outdoor showers. We also really like Satinwood. Again, terrific views and comfortable. Happy hunting! Oh, and did you look at Notre Ciel? You tr...

We loved Skyridge --everything about it. The views are magnificent (the photos don't do it justice), and the house is so comfortable and private. Plus the outdoor showers are great!
Good luck!
