Yes, I think it is worth it to stop at Tektite. It is very interesting. The stuff to see is a ways from the mooring ball. As you are looking out at the water, you swim to the left, out and around the point. Singer has detailed directions in his book. There were not as many fish as some other places...

Re: 5 BR Villa~

Good morning. We stayed at Villa Caribe four years ago with another couple and our four children. The layout and location of the property were perfect for us. There are five equal bedrooms, three down and two up, each with its own bath. Right before our stay, the property had been completely renovat...

Re: Paris - Where to stay?

Thanks for the feedback, jmq. I especially appreciate the link for the tour. Since it's impossible to visit everthing in such a short time, this sounds like a good way to at least see some of the most popular attractions even if it's only from a vehicle. Also, if anyone could provide the name and/or...

Re: Paris - Where to stay?

Thank you, lprof. That's a great thread and I've bookmarked it. Lots of good ideas for restaurants, etc. And, no, I had not heard about the snowfall. Better them than me, though! I'm already sick of cold weather in Kentucky. I'm sure Paris in any weather is wonderful. We're very excited!

Paris - Where to stay?

Bonjour! We're planning our first visit to Paris for November 2013. My head is spinning from spending hours researching apartment rentals and trying to decide which area best suits. I'm interested in a place that is in good condition and clean with a kitchenette, a shower, a queen bed, and is not to...

I consider myself a pretty observant person. We were there last week, and to be honest, I didn't notice them until my spouse pointed them out. They don't really bother me, but they are certainly different. It's only one beach, so I'm with XIG on this one. There are way more important things to get e...

Hi, sherpa. DH and I stayed at Waterklip the past two years. It's not fancy, but meets your requirements. The location is great - close to Cruz Bay but offers privacy. We loved the pool, deck, and view, and it appears to be available during July. If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to a...

Maggy, your pictures are wonderful. It's amazing (as in WOW!) that you got to see a whale shark. You are so lucky to have traveled there. It's beautiful. Thank you for sharing your trip.
