Some people make sweet tea but we prefer ours unsweetened when we get it. I think some people still stick their pitcher in a sunny window for some reason.

We've probably all put the gris gris on our dry snorkels for saying we have never had a problem, but I haven't had a problem either. I have the same one CariBert uses and I agree with smilesfromMN that part of the reason I like it so much is that the slpash doesn't get in it when I am on the surface...

I have been waiting for Cat to respond to this to see what she would say  I have to laugh because the whole hike to Ram Head, I couldn't believe she had on flip flops. They were flimsy ones at that. She cracks me up though with all of her flip flops. When we got to the top and she was leaning o...

I have to say that this forum was the only bright thing for me through some hard times, and it gave me something to look forward to everyday when it seemed like there was nothing else to look forward to so I am so glad for having ya'll in my life (weep weep).

Re: It’s been ages…

I am so happy to see people back here! I am also tired of Facebook and miss the old days of the forum. I was also thinking about how many friendships I have formed thanks to this place! Will be back more often.

Re: 2021 Dreaming, ...Booked

To me the Crown Bay Ferry is a much better choice as I would prefer to be on the water longer than on the road. Did you already book a villa? I was looking at a few recently for our upcoming trips. I LOVE the views from SEAclusion on Ajax Peak. We stay on Seagrape Hill alot (Sea Palace Retreat, In H...

Re: Hakuna Matata

We stayed there in 2002 for a family member's wedding and our first trip to the island. We have since been back almost every summer, I can say that of all of the villas we have stayed at, that was the most grand, and the view was my favorite. Back then, the road was horrible but as RickG said, it's ...

Re: Finally returning!

We have stayed at Emerald Beach several times and love it, but I think it is over your price range. We have also stayed at Windward Passage and Hotel Mafolie neither of which we prefer to stay at anymore. Mafolie was just ok. It did have a nice pool with an awesome view, but we like being right by t...

Re: Cruz Bay Villa help

Our favorite villa in Cruz Bay is Argonauta. It is full a/c and the views are amazing! It's also just a quick drive from town; I wouldn't walk it though. This would go slightly over your budget with taxes and fees but still worth looking into. The two best bedrooms for views are in the pod. I don't ...

Loved your report even if you think you were boring!

So, would you recommend Klein Bay for snorkeling...other than if you want to see a reef shark :)?

Drumbiker - Pia is definitely still around and always so helpful! I wore white capri pants to br...
