We rented this private villa for two weeks during the holidays. We've rented many private homes and villas in beach destinations and islands prior. The only thing this property has going for it is the view. The home is less than half the home I live in on a daily basis. We had to insist it be cleaned again the day we arrived. The pool, although they stated it was just redone, had paint coming off and floating to the top, virtually no decking around it for chairs, paint everywhere and rarely any sun on it. The house is an open-air villa so one would expect bugs or critters, but were an exceptional lots of them. Everyone complained the beds were hard, even though most of them had lambs wool padding on them. The linens were less than par. The kitchen is older and has some rust on the appliances, barely any pots and pans. It was difficult to cook a full meal. The person maintaining this property for the owners was exceptionally nice and tried very hard to attend to our wants and needs but overall for the price of high season, the home needs much attention to detail. The view of Buck Island is absolutely incredible!
